This paper presents an Eclipse and Graphical Editing Framework GEF [3] based visual environment for the modeling and simulation of ordinary differential equations (ODEs). It provides an overview of user interface, design and application of jSimulink [2]. It argues that visual approach produces same simulation results as numerical computing, if not better. It also describes the application of Java Communicating Sequential Processes (JCSP) [4] in process oriented modeling and simulation within jSimulink [2].
