Abstract

SAR induced in inhomogeneous human models near a cellular phone base station was calculated by the finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) method at 1869 MHz. The impact of shoes and generic clothes on the SAR induced in human models is presented. It is shown that the impact of shoes and generic clothes on the SAR induced in human models is very small. Obviously, the generic clothes is not made of good EM-wave-protective materials for shielding people from dangerous levels of EM radiation.
