Abstract

This paper studies the adaptive transmission technique adopting the GL-coded spectrally-precoded orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (SP-OFDM) signals with constant transmission power on the flat fading channel. By jointly adapting the precoding order for spectral pre-coder and the component modulation for OFDM, adaptive GL-coded SP-OFDM is shown to outperform conventional adaptive OFDM significantly in average spectral efficiency.
