Stage-Gate® process, Construction by Configuration,Software Engineering.
In this article it is presented how a Stage-Gate® process was adapted to support CbC: An additional activity was added at the beginning. Corporate templates as well as interviews were used for the analysis. Developers received training in the configuration activity. Validation and technical tests were conducted for the System Testing and finally attendance and distance trainings were made in the final stage. This is how besides refining a Stage Gate® process CbC is reaffirmed as a valid proposed methodology for configurable systems.
