One of a very promising ways to address multiple concerns regarding security of Web-based education systems and university educational networks is to utilize Virtual Private Network (VPN) technology. This paper discusses results and outcomes of 5-year long active utilization of VPN technology in university networks. It continues presentation of results, findings, outcomes and recommendations presented and published in [1] regarding various applications of VPN technology for streaming media-based learning content’s secure delivery using VPN’s authentication and encryption algorithms as well as tunnel and transport modes.
