Abstract

Even in the learning activity, the computer/network support environment is looked upon as one of the most desirable learning systems and has been investigated in a wide range of educational organizations: e-Learning is the most popular term to represent computer-supported learning systems/environments clearly. In this paper, we discuss our framework to design effectual learning environment from a viewpoint of functionality. Our basic idea is to design various types of functions under the layered structure: space sharing notion, field sharing notion, target sharing notion, knowledge sharing notion, process sharing notion and context sharing notion. Also, we discuss these notions through our experimental investigations, performed in our laboratory.
