Emerging technologies are being developed to address the new challenges that organizations are facing or the new innovations possibly created to counter globalization. However, emerging technologies require skills or an introductory training to facilitate the use of such innovations. Teaching the skill of producing Podcasts, as an example of emerging technologies, to students is essential. Students are part of society and should be involved in the social production era. This case study highlights a flexible exercise for students to follow to produce Podcasts, allowing for research, learning, and innovation exploration of such technologies. Also, it exhibits how educators can be instrumental in managing the technology skills of students, and be the mentors in escorting them into the global social production era.
