e-learning, e-course, usage, efficiency, assessment
This paper provides an insight into the problem of e learning courses used in traditional education. The basic concepts of e-courses experimental usage patterns in Riga Technical University are described. The results of three year teaching of the “Software Engineering” subject using e-courses are considered. The method of efficiency assessment based on students’ current results and background knowledge and skills is presented and the coefficient of efficiency is estimated.
