Abstract

We discuss a robust image hashing scheme for content identification based on a hash string constructed from lead ing JPEG2000 packet data. An attack questioning the use fulness of the approach is demonstrated and we propose to resolve this security threat by measuring distance between hash strings in a different manner as originally proposed.
