Power splitter, power combining.
The paper comprises the design of novel structure of eight-way microwave power splitter. This circuit works in X-band. Equal power splitting ratio 1:8 for all the outputs has been obtained using coupled coax probes structure inside a cylindrical microwave resonator. This power splitter offers reasonable insertion losses and bandwidth, together with very compact structure and simple mechanical manufacturing.
