Abstract

The scope of this work is to present two suitable solutions to develop a Power Conditioning Circuit (PCC) for a Self Powered System powered by low-power vibration energy sources up to 2.5V based on piezoelectric (PZT) generators. Both solutions have been analyzed and implemented into low power hcmos 0.13µm tech., from ST Microelectronics. Some preliminary conclusions are introduced as well as the whole architecture.
