Exemplar-based algorithm, filling order, structure priority value, edge map
Image inpainting is a useful technique to fill the removed area or repair the damaged region of a picture. The work proposes an enhanced exemplar-based algorithm to repair the removed region of an image, especially for the large area. Different from the previous works, the proposed algorithm does not need to adjust the parameters manually for input images. Moreover, a structure priority value is presented to keep the texture structure according to the edge information. The experimental results demonstrate that the proposed approach can efficiently recover the texture information of natural scene.
