Abstract

We studied a switching mathematical model for the interac tion of prey (bird), mesopredator (rabbit) and superpredator (cat). Bird and rabbit population are more prone to cat pop ulation at higher densities. The stability analysis is carried out for seven equilibrium values. We find out conditions under which these three species co-exist and discuss the way to save bird population. The theoretical results are compared with the numerical results for a set of values.
