Abstract

The paper presents the results of the designing, manufacturing and experimenting work, in the pilot phase, of a hydrogen combustion installation, together with natural gas, in volumetric proportions of over 70%. The technical solution adopted by the users for the combustion of hydrogen under maximum security conditions and energetic efficiency, is that of distributing the fuel and the combustion air, in running stages, in the flame initially generated by the ignition of the natural gas and of the primary air. The conclusions of the conducted tests were satisfying, regarding the energetic effects and the impact on the environment.
