Single-phase supply, single- to three phase conversion,
The paper deals with the selection of single- to three phase system of power electronic conversion. The conversion is investigated through the middle frequency transformer and using of matrix converters. Nowadays, it’s important to provide unification. The proposed drive in comparison with currently used conventional drives reduces the number of power switching elements of the converter, which increases drives dependability and brings lower investment in power electronics used in drive, which offers a solution also for single phase electric traction applications.
