PEM fuel cell, electric circuit, modeling, review
In this paper a review of the equivalent circuit models that have been proposed for proton exchange membrane fuel cells are presented and their main characteristics and differences are compared. Also the need for equivalent circuit models is identified, particularly for use in simulations. Experimental data is obtained from a Nexa® power module 1.2 kW manufactured from Ballard power systems.
