Abstract

Generation rescheduling is one of the most economic measurements for voltage stability margin enhancement in open access transmission systems. Based on sensitivity method, an effective approach to improve system dynamic voltage stability margin, especially voltage collapse margin, is proposed in this paper. Status, which do not satisfy stability operation criterion in N 1contingency conditions, is selected as endangered conditions for generation rescheduling. IEEE-57 nodes test system shows the feasibility and efficiency of the proposed algorithm.
