This article presents our concept of an artificial hor mone system for realizing a completely decentralized self organizing task allocation using self-X properties. We present our newest theoretical and practical research re sults: we introduce a new and improved upper bound for self-configuration and self-healing, and show first test se ries that illustrate the timing behavior of self-configuration and self-healing.
