Abstract

In the present article we discuss the special use of a digital pen for transposing handwriting into computer printed text through a conversion to make it available for processing into other languages through translation software. Conversion software allows for quick access of initially hand-scribbled notes and texts in diverse languages into computer printed text for further applications. We analyzed samples to show emerging characteristics of the conversion of handwriting into printed text and proposed modifications to the program as well as recommendations for the writer in light of the impact it could have on a subsequent translation application.
