Abstract

The goal of the DIJA project is to create a web-based CAD system. This system has to be accessible from any computer and any user’s computer skill with the same performance as a local one and is composed of several trade libraries to let the user chooses only the ones he needs. In order to have good performances, we had to provide our system with adequate data representation. In this paper, we show that the model used to make data exchanges between the client and the server easier is realised by a replicated architecture. This model is a specific scene description language. We show how we extend it with a graph in order to rebuild only its appropriate part when a re-conception occurs (because of a modification for example). Finally, we present a new approach to take into account trade information.
