Abstract

Our works handles problematic of colour images processing and segmentation, in particular on cellular medical images. At first, a deep study was elaborated on colour image models and on colour space representation, mainly the RGB and the HSI spaces. In the following we apply one of our algorithms on the available image samples. The main purpose is to extract useful regions and the interesting colours in order to provide better cellular image analysis and synthesis. Several traditional algorithms were tested as: pixels classification, enhancing area. In this paper we propose original method, based on colour spaces transformation for colour variability reducing and then on a fuzzy colour segmentation model.
