This paper deals with the computer simulation to obtain an empirical equation for field form factors of a hemi spherically capped rod-plane system and determine the range of applicability. To derive a more accurate analytical relation for calculating the maximum and average electric fields in rod-plane configuration, the data obtained was analyzed. Good concordance was found between simulated electric filed values and those obtained analytically
