In this paper, a technique for extracting scattering centers of vehicles is presented. It is based on Ray-Tracing simulations with complex vehicle models. Simulations have been validated by measurements. Ray-Tracing delivers the scattering centers, which are grouped to clusters by a weighted geometrical algorithm. This leads to a simplified model with a limited number of scattering centers.
