Conflict detection, billing rules, object constraint language, multidimensional vectors
In order to solve the problem of business decreasing resulted from inconsistency for accounts payable, the conflict detection of billing rules has become a hot topic in the current research of telecommunications billing system. This paper proposes a policy-based billing rule model using object constraint language. Based on this model, we describe a conflict detection method with multidimensional vectors. Availability and consistency between rules are supported well in this system. Moreover, a prototype system has been developed based on our model.
