Design of Efficient User-Cooperation Scheme with Cyclic Coding using LEACH

In this paper, an efficient user-cooperation scheme associated with cyclic coding for WSNs (Wireless Sensor Networks) using LEACH (Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy) is proposed. The proposed user cooperation requires no CSI(channel state information) at both transmitter and receiver, and simple encoding and decoding of cyclic codes not only reduce significantly the processing complexity of sensor nodes but also improve the transmission performance. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme can save 7dB over single transmission at BER of 10-2 in network energy.
