Abstract

A multifaceted user interface framework is presented. This framework is based on "filmification" of the user interface components where interface components are represented by multiple views and manipulated through adaptive pan els of a user friendly type. Within the framework, ap plications are represented by “Multifaceted User Interface (MUI) films." MUI filmshave multi-level adaptation capa bilities to support a wider range of people. So, this frame work is a way to bridge the gap between “universal design” for people with mildly to moderately disabilities and “or phan design” for people with severe disabilities. In this pa per, multifaceted user interface model and implementation examples are described.
