Distributed learner profile, Semantic Web, Interoperability, Topic Maps
Personalized adaptive learning system aims to make efficient learning activity by considering the learner at the center of the system. Unfortunately, this system does not have complete learner profile because learners use multiple learning systems to perform learning. So, learner profile is fragmented over multiple heterogeneous learning systems. By using semantic web technology, naming Topic Maps, we show how we perform integration of heterogeneous fragments of learner profile in order to get coherent and complete one. So, adaptive learning system allows learner to perform more successful learning.
