Risk analysis, wind energy projects, risk modeling, Monte Carlo simulation
The accession process of Republic of Croatia to the EU and two successful wind energy case studies increase the interest for renewable energy projects in Croatia and initiates number of wind energy projects. Respect to the worldwide experience the model for risk analysis of the wind energy projects is developed taking into consideration local specifics in Croatia. Calculation is performed in MS Excel spreadsheet with additional addins. The wind farm of 20 wind turbines with installed capacity of 1 MW each is used as an example for model representation.
