DVB-S2, CCM, demodulator
This paper details on the design of DVB-S2 demodulator. The architecture of the demodulator compliant with the CCM (Constant Coding and Modulation) mode comprises timing recovery unit, frame synchronization unit, frequency recovery unit and frequency phase recovery unit. The system is easier to hardware implementation comparing with the system provided in [4] and [8]. After the key demodulation algorithms were discussed, a quantitative result is given, this allows us to draw conclusions concerning the achievable system performance under realistic complexity assumptions.
