Abstract

In this paper, we describe the importance of Non Functional Requirements (NFR) and how to reuse and integrate them into the Software Development Process (SDP). Traditional flow of requirements is used to make no difference between functional and non functional requirements; it is our intention to set apart both in the SDP, and help to trace and integrate them in the whole process in order to retrieve information for future projects. Ontologies of requirements’ classification, generic software architecture knowledge and architectural decisions knowledge is used as foundation for the traceability and retrieval process. The idea is to integrate this conception in a CASE tool for supporting it in the real world of software development.
