Research of the Influence of Deformations and Errors of Prostheses on the Disabled Human's Gait

Abstract

The paper presents the fact, that the elastic deformations and errors of the manufacturing and assembling of the leg prosthesis of the disabled human have the great influence to the kinematics of the gait. The calculation method of elastic deformations and errors of the manufacturing and assembling of the leg prosthesis are presented. Analytical expressions depending on the anthropometric parameters of the disabled human enable to calculate the mostly acceptable summary values of the elastic deformations on the joints of the manufacturing and assembling errors of the leg prosthesis are provided. The minimal and the maximal calculated values of elastic deformations of the leg prosthesis and summary assembling and manufacturing errors are determined.
