Fuzzy enhancement, microcalcification, mass detection, feature extraction, BPNN.
Our purpose in this study is to develop a method of image mammogram contrast enhancement and detection micro calcifications and masses. Enhancement method is based on fuzzy logic rules. The microcalcifications are grouped into clusters and feature extraction is performed. Mass con tour is detected and its shape features are calculated. MLP (multi-layer perceptron) is used for classification.
