Recursive System, Generation Gap, and WebCt
This study investigates the cultural origins of differences in moving from talk and chalk to student centered independent learning as described through the eyes of university teachers in Lebanon and Saudi Arabia. It is concluded that having or not having access to computer and internet at home affects the intention to use WebCt later on. Variables such as Age (Generation Gap), Perceived Ease of Use or how do teachers Feel about WebCt are not significant. It found that university culture background remains important in determining variables such as familiarity.
