A clustered multi-server can be deployed to cope with ever increasing client requests to Web Application Server (WAS) in internet-banking. Request distribution algorithms to assign the client requests among multiple Web-servers are important to enhance the performance of the clustered Web-server systems. In this paper, we propose a hybrid approach to distribute the client requests, based on IP-address dispatching and request redirection. We compare the performance of our approach with the other request distribution schemes. We show the performance measurements for the proposed approach.
