The article describes two ways of selection of a hearing aid for a patient, namely using an analyzer or a computer program for specific hearing loss. Computer-supported selection of the hearing aid utilizes following methods: 1/2gain, Berger and POGO. It is shown that the selection of the hearing aid done by the computer program brings several advantages in comparison with the selection of the hearing aid by analyzer.
