: Software Architecture, DSP, Architectural Views, Mobile and Wireless Computing
Digital signal processing (DSP) is an essential part of mobile wireless communication systems. The mobile terminals of the future will create challenges for the development of DSP software. Traditionally, DSP software development has concentrated on optimising the algorithms. In the future, more control code will be needed. In order to handle the new requirements, the importance of software architecture has grown. This paper presents how architectural views can be utilised in DSP software development.
