Abstract

By analyzing the knowledge of the structure of Chinese characters deeply, we will present a novel method to describe a Chinese character mathematically. Chinese characters are expressed by mathematical expressions whose operands are components and whose operators are location relations of two components. 505 components and 6 operators can express all the Chinese characters success fully. Since this simple and natural mathematical expression can be processed as normal mathematical expression, it will make Chinese character information processing be come much simpler than before. It can be applied extensively to the fields such as typesetting, advertising, packing design, network transmission and Chinese mobile communication.
