Abstract

This paper presents the use of a complex envelope approach to control a self-oscillating pressure oscillation due to a grazing flow. The main advantage of the complex enve lope approach is to use the Landau equation to model the phenomena, and to control it in real-time. Experimenta tions were performed with grazing flows over a resonant tube. The experimental results shown the efficiency of the approach to control the self-oscillation and to identify the parameters of the reduced model. Active control, flow, feedback, oscillation, non-linear, complex envelope.
