Real time systems, security in sensor networks 529-006 123
Security in sensor networks is important because it is used in military applications on battlefield to detect tanks, air planes, mines; it is also used in life critical systems. Key management is an important issue for wired and wireless sensor networks. There are some sensor security protocols that have been proposed. Few of them have been implemented, recently. In the real world, there are different types of attacks in sensor networks. Distributed sensor network systems have the potential to enable a wide range of applications, but they pose serious security and design challenges. This paper reviews different key management protocols for group communication in sensor networks.
