: Computer-aided modelling, process systems, process control.
A systematic computer-aided method is proposed in this paper to support the model building process based on a well defined incremental modelling procedure. The re sulted models are complete and contradiction-free written in a well defined canonical form ensured by construction. The application of the method is illustrated on two case studies using our intelligent model editor.
