Nonlinear system; Stability; Ob server; Lyapunov equation.
Construction of a nonlinear Thau-type observer for nonlinear systems with a time- varying linearization is given. Convergence of a state estimate vector formed by the observer to a state vector is studied with help of the Lyapunov theory methods and analysis of the time- varying Lyapunov equation. It is shown that the Lyapunov analysis in cases considered is reduced to a solution of two diļ¬erential inequalities of a spe cial type. We concern ways of their solution. In one special case one of these inequalities is reduced to the algebraic inequality originally obtained by the author earlier.
