The aim of this paper is to present a fuzzy multi-objective multi-index transportation problem model and develop a two-phase fuzzy programming approach to the model. The proposed two-phase approach guarantees α-Pareto optimal solutions as well as optimal α-compromise solution for solving the fuzzy multi-objective multi-index transportation problem.
