Abstract

The general style of load forecasting in Taiwan emphasizes aggregated sector load forecasting and regional load forecasting. However, aggregated sector load forecasting cannot predict where the load takes place and is not helpful for the planning of transmission line or substation projects. Neither could it help find out the development potential latent of some areas. This paper tries to apply Artificial Neural Network to formulate regional load forecasting mode. The results of this paper will be compared with the real power record.
