Fault detection, observer, multiplicative faults
The detection and isolation of multiplicative faults in lin ear systtems has been associated frequently to identifica tion methods. Only in few occasions observer-based (even if non-linear) has been used for FDI purposes. In this work we proposed a scheme to the detection of multiplicative faults using linear observer-based residuals. The observer based proposed approach take into account the detectability of multiplicative faults with respect to the residuals in order to avoid possible undetectability problems. The approach is shown with an example.
