Abstract

In this paper we study an optimal control problem of Bolzatype described by a wave-type hyperbolic hemivariational inequality. We show an existence result for such a problem exploiting the existence result for hemivariational inequalities by L. Gasi´nski and M. Smołka [1] and sufficient conditions for L₁-strong-weak lower semicontinuity of integral functionals by E.J. Balder [2].
