CIRCLE is constructed with the purpose of providing a configurable, incremental, and re-structurable electronic environment that could facilitate the increasing needs of distant education. Two components have been integrated successfully into CIRCLE, they are: 1) Intelligent Tutor: an ITS system that specialises in tutoring Marginal Costing for accounting students, and 2) VRCapture: an authoring tool that is designed to capture the conceptual knowledge especially in the numerical domains such as mathematics and accounting.
