Abstract

The implementation of a new curriculum in Information Communication and Technology required the development of a Scope and Sequence and Illustrative Examples. Teacher leadership/mentoring, peer coaching and team teaching, as well as professional organizations and online support dedicated to technology integration assisted in providing teachers the professional development required to integrate technology into the curriculum. One school division shares their story of how the development of a scope and sequence provided a professional development opportunity to move past technology tool training to technology integration into the curriculum.
