The present paper proposes a novel approach to personalize a WEB based Java Tutorial. This approach is based on the evaluation of prior knowledge and abilities, learning styles, intelligence type, and the determination of beliefs and attitudes. Based on the results of the evaluations a tailored course can be generated in order to fit the personal needs of each learner.
