Bayesian equalization in single-user scenarios has been widely studied during last few years. This approach has proved to offer useful capabilities when used with symbol by-symbol detectors. On-line Bit Error Rate estimation and efficient implementation through Radial Basis Function networks are some of its main advantages. This pa per extends the mathematical framework recently devel oped for single user detectors, so as to take into account the special features found in 3G DS/CDMA multiuser commu nications.
