In this paper, generation of terahertz ultra-short train of soliton-like pulses from a weak-modulated signal is simulated within optical fibers using beam propagation method. Compression ratios and optimum fiber lengths required to achieve a train of short pulses at the output of the fiber are presented in normalized form.
